Released in 1986, Orgasmatron was the first Motörhead album recorded by the line-up of Lemmy, Phil Campbell, Würzel and Pete Gill. The record marked a heavier direction for the band while still holding onto the speed and rawness that defined their earlier work.
While the production of the record was a cause of much debate overtime from band and fan alike, it features key Motorhead set heavyweights including “Orgasmatron”, “Deaf Forever” and “Built For Speed”, and has gone on to become one of the most respected releases in the Motörhead catalogue. Blending hard rock, heavy metal and punk influences, Orgasmatron remains an important record in the band’s history and a fan favourite nearly four decades on.

• The 40th anniversary edition is a true celebration of the record and includes: The original studio album, remastered for the 40th anniversary and cut at half speed from the original tapes
• A brand-new remix and remaster created from the original stems by longtime Motorhead collaborator Cameron Webb
• The story of the album, written by Neil Perry and brought to life with rare photos and memorabilia.
• Additional studio rehearsals and outtakes from 1985, alongside the complete BBC Radio 1 Friday Rock Show session from 1986.
